The WE Movement

Have you heard about this organziation? Well if you haven’t, WE is a movement that brings people together and gives them the tools to make a local and global impact. Today WE is made up of millions of passionate individuals who are working together to change the world.

Their website gives visitors the opportunity to be part of the WE Movement through various ME to WE opportunities. I consider myself blessed to not only have found the perfect journal that I have been asking God for, but one that allots me the opportunity to give back.

“Me to We is part of a family of organizations, including WE, Me to We and We Day, that has a shared goal: to empower a generation to shift the world from ‘me’ to ‘we’—through how we act, how we give, the choices we make on what to buy and what to wear, the media we consume and the experiences with which we choose to engage.”

After following the instructions on the back of the journal, I learned that because of my purchase and other purchases alike,  students in Kenya will have the tools needed to succeed in school!

“Your purchase supports education projects in a rural community in Narok County. With an education, children have the knowledge to better themselves, their families, their communities and the next generation. They learn how to prevent illness and improve their health, build and maintain infrastructure, understand and advocate for basic rights and secure a livelihood—all tools that will help them lift themselves and their families from poverty.”

Man, after searching multiple places for just the right journal, you have no idea how happy I am to have found one that helps me easily gather my networking notes in one place, while also giving me the chance to give back to a community in need. This just proves time and time again that it pays to wait on the Lord.

If you’re interested in purchasing a really nice, well put together journal, both of these items can be purchased at a Walgreens near you! 😀

P.S. This was NOT a sponsored post.  I just felt the need to inform you all about this organization and some of the things they’re doing to improve the lives of others.
