I truly enjoy writing about restaurants that I have been pleased with. Though they lost brownie points because of their restrooms, the overall food and ambiance was favorable.
The decor here was really jazzy. It had a modern, south-westish theme going on.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how all their water came in little mason jars. This place is so hipsterish! Lol
Their happy hour menu of drinks isn’t diverse at all, but the pomegranate mimosa you see above was not bad for $5 and they have the most generous wine glasses that I’ve seen thus far!
These sweet potato fries were the best that I have ever had at a restaurant before. As if they weren’t amazing by themselves, the melted cheese and bacon bits that was added took the dish to another level. It had the perfect mix of savory and sweet flavors!
This pizza doesn’t look like much but the taste was everything!
The dish that I personally ordered was called the savory flyer. It consisted of three mini waffles topped with three different types of meat and came with a side of potato fries that I upgraded by adding cheese and bacon bits. THIS ALONE COST LESS THAN $10 on the happy hour menu!
I couldn’t eat the meaty waffles because I filled up on my friend’s sweet potato fries and pizza along with the sweet potato fries that came with my own plate, but my brother really seemed to enjoy them when I brought them home with me. I would definitely say that this is a meat lover’s delight!
I thought their way of bringing you your check was completely adorbs too!!! When I saw it on the table at first glance, I was confused at where this old novel came from! 😛
