Lately I’ve been trying out some new spots around Houston and my most recent stop was Bovine and Barley. This bar like restaurant was located around the downtown Houston area.
This time for brunch, instead of getting my usual french toast, I was interested in getting something less breakfast centered. I ended up getting the B&B Brisket Tacos and it was the best decision I could have made! The brisket was so tender and the avocado, sour cream and Pico really added to the deliciousness. I even almost ordered another one to enjoy at home but I decided to exercise wisdom and wait until the next time I came here to have it. This place is the most affordable restaurant I’ve been to for brunch lately and the food has been the most tasteful. I will DEFINITELY be stopping by here again since their brunch times don’t end until 5pm! 😄
This was the decor that lined the ceiling around the area where I was seated.
These old beer barrels were cool additions to the overall ambiance.
I loved my view of the HTX sign!
I plan on ordering one of these dishes the next time I visit here.
This was the meal I ordered: The B&B Brisket Tacos!😋
Like usual, paying for parking is a must especially where this restaurant is located. But there’s a convenient parking area literally right around the corner from the restaurant and it’s usually like $2 an hour and parking becomes free after 6pm!
